Jammu, Feb 03 (KNO): The Jammu & Kashmir Government on Tuesday said that no assessment has been carried out to evaluate the losses suffered by tourism stakeholders in 2025. In a written reply to a question from MLA Lal Chowk, Ahsan Pardesi, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the minister in charge of Tourism, who also happens to be Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, stated that the department has not conducted any assessment regarding the financial losses suffered by tourism stakeholders in 2025. Kashmir’s tourism industry incurred heavy losses after a deadly attack in the meadow of Baisaran near Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, in which 26 people-mostly tourists-were killed—(KNO)
